About Me
Hi, I’m Ravi Goyal, a Cloud Engineer passionate about building reliable, scalable, and secure cloud systems. My journey began with a curiosity about how infrastructure powers modern apps, leading me to master Linux, networking, and SQL before focusing on AWS solutions.
I believe technology should work quietly and efficiently. Whether I'm configuring secure networks, automating infrastructure, or optimizing costs, I approach every challenge with precision and a "production-first" mindset.
Beyond the cloud, I’m a problem solver at heart. I view every project as an opportunity to not just build a solution, but to engineer it thoughtfully.

Projects
Global Edge Web Delivery Platform (AWS)
- Designed a multi-region web architecture to improve availability and reduce latency for global users.
- Provisioned VPCs, subnets, EC2 instances, and deployed web servers behind Application Load Balancers.
- Configured AWS Global Accelerator to route TCP traffic via edge locations with health-based failover.
- Integrated Route 53 by mapping the application domain to Global Accelerator static IP addresses.
- Implemented security groups and network rules to restrict access and follow cloud security best practices.
- Validated failover and availability by testing region-level health checks and traffic routing behavior.
Highly Available Auto Scaling Web Application on AWS
- Built a scalable and fault-tolerant web application using EC2 Auto Scaling Groups and ALB.
- Configured IAM roles and policies following least-privilege access principles.
- Used S3 for static content storage and RDS for managed relational database services.
- Implemented CloudWatch metrics and alarms to monitor performance, scaling events, and instance health.
- Analyzed application behavior during load changes to verify scaling and recovery mechanisms.
